Privacy Policy — MacroFast

Last updated: July 9, 2026

Summary

MacroFast stores all your data on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or share your personal information.

Data We Store

All data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework:

Apple Health (HealthKit)

MacroFast may interact with Apple Health in two ways, both entirely on-device:

Reading glucose data: MacroFast requests read-only access to blood glucose data stored in Apple Health. This data is displayed locally in the Glucose tab and is never uploaded, transmitted, or shared.

Writing nutrition data (opt-in): If you choose to enable “Sync meals to Apple Health” in Goals, MacroFast will write your logged calorie, protein, carbohydrate, and fat data to Apple Health. This is off by default. You can disable it or revoke access at any time.

You can manage HealthKit permissions at any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → MacroFast.
